A realistic style painter, Ellen has a passion for art. She enjoys working in various mediums; oils, watercolor or pastels. The subject matter includes portraiture; landscapes, still life and florals. The essence of a still life, the likeness and personality of the model, or capturing the changing light and atmosphere of nature are all exhilarating for the artist...

Ellen's interest in art began in childhood. She earned a Technical Art Diploma from High School, a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from Pratt and continued developing her talent by taking many classes and work shops.

Her memberships have included American Society of Portrait Artist; North East Watercolor Society, Hudson Valley Art Association and Salmagundi Club. Additionally, she is listed in the International Directory of Distinguished Leadership.

Ellen's painting hang in many private and public collections.
